Slim and slender: ten names, mostly in plain clothes

It is the drawer with the least variation in manner, which is unusual. Seven of the ten dress plainly and expensively, most often in dark cloth, and one of them says outright that if anyone remembers the dress she chose the wrong one.
Frame is all this sorts. The ages run from twenty-two to thirty-one, the hair covers blonde, brown, black and auburn, and the districts run from Chelsea to Marylebone. Every figure on the ladder applies unchanged.

The tallest four
Violetta is 178 cm, tall and slender, black and sleek, and the stillness is the point of her. Stacy is 176 cm, near-black brown, twenty-two, and dresses in white and pale colours with long lines. Karolina is 174 cm, black haired, and wears black, very little jewellery and no scent you would notice from across a room. Samanta is 174 cm, dark brown, and looks expensive in the plainest clothes in the room, which is a knack rather than an accident.
The 172 and 173 pair
Vanessa is 173 cm, sandy brown with balayage, hazel eyed, black in the evening and florals by day, with the loose posture of someone who would rather be in a garden than a lobby. Patricia is 172 cm, auburn brown, and carries herself lightly enough that she never looks as though she has dressed for an occasion.
The four beneath 170
Cindy is 168 cm, blonde and wavy, in pale colours and plain lines. Liana is 167 cm, chestnut and straight, with the posture of someone who was told once to stand up straight and simply agreed. Margo is 166 cm, dark brown, thirty-one, and dresses with a precision that borders on severe. Lucy is 163 cm, dark curls, and dresses in fluid things, satin and soft knits in colours somewhere between red and rust.
The habit the drawer has
Understatement, almost without exception. Black, good cloth, one thing rather than three, and a preference for being remembered rather than looked at. That makes this the drawer most often opened for an evening with other people in it, and all four names on the client dinners and openings page are drawn from it.

Six are in statuesque and one in petite. By hair, six are in brunettes, two in black haired, one in blondes and one in auburn. Six are in late twenties, two in early twenties and two above thirty.

Most of these women are at their best over three hours or more, and several say so plainly rather than taking the shorter booking and hoping. Write with the date, the hours, the address and a name, and the reply carries her arrival time to the minute and the figure in pounds.
