About Rosa
Rosa laughs first and explains afterwards. She is 160 cm, curvy, brown eyed, and her chestnut brown hair is long and genuinely curly. She wears prints most people would not attempt, paisley and pattern and one shell necklace she has had since she was a teenager, and she carries it off because she is not asking anybody's permission. In a plain room she is the colour in it. She is 160 cm and wears a heel she can dance in, which she occasionally does.
She is twenty-five. She talks in fast English and with her hands, and on a difficult evening she is the warmest company here. She cooks for friends, buys flowers she cannot afford and is a great deal more observant than the noise suggests: she notices when a guest would rather not talk and she simply changes gear. She is generous with attention and entirely without malice, and she gossips about nobody. She is at her best with a guest who has had a bad week and does not want to discuss it.
Her Marylebone evening is at Orrery on the high street, upstairs in the long narrow room above the shop with the arched windows looking over the old churchyard. It is quiet, formal and rather beautiful, which is a pleasing contrast with her, and the service is patient about a table that has become a conversation. She lives in Marylebone, so she is ten minutes on foot from most of it and knows which florist opens earliest. She will order two starters instead of a main and share both without being asked.
Evenings that include dinner suit her best. Her bookings sit in Marylebone and the streets around Baker Street. Write with your day, and the free nights come back by return.

Booking her evening
Rosa is easy at short notice for evenings in Marylebone. The upstairs room on the high street is quiet and small, so a day's notice helps.
Her figures are the house figures, printed in full on the rates page, and the whole arrangement runs in one thread from the first line to the confirmation.

An evening with Rosa
Rosa's evening begins loudly and settles quickly. She arrives talking, which is disarming, and within twenty minutes the conversation has gone somewhere neither of you planned.
The room above the high street is the counterweight: arched windows, white cloths, a view over the old churchyard and a level of quiet that makes her drop her voice. She eats properly, drinks one good glass and is generous with attention. Afterwards she likes the walk down the high street with the shops lit and shut, and she will point out the flowers she would have bought. Back at the hotel she is affectionate, easy and in no rush whatsoever. She stays to the agreed hour and leaves a room warmer than she found it, which is her particular talent.
Rosa, in her own words
Mostly. I am not loud when it would be unkind, which is more often than people expect.
Too much of it. Nobody has ever left my kitchen hungry or on time.
Because black is a decision everyone else has already made. I would rather look like myself. Marylebone is full of women in very good black and I have nothing against a single one of them. I would simply rather be the one you can find again from across a room.

In the margin
The remarks card for Rosa is still blank, which is usually what discretion looks like. A note appears here only when a guest writes one, she agrees to it, and the house has checked that it reads as a first name, a month and nothing private.
